“Icebergs” at the National Building Museum

If only I had known this was the last weekend I wouldn’t have told myself over and over again, “next weekend.” You snooze you loose. But if you are going to be in town then this is the last weekend to see “Icebergs” at the National Building Museum! From what I’ve heard it is quit the site to see, you get to imaginatively go underwater and to the top of peaks. Admission ranges from $5-$16 and you can get your tickets here.
Jazz in the Garden in the National Sculpture Garden

Another final chance to catch event this weekend is Jazz in the Garden. Did you know this is Jazz in the Garden’s 16th season? You do now. Admission is free and the concert will run from 5- 8 pm. Try getting there early to get good seats and enjoy the smooth sounds of Jazz.
Carifesta at the Ronald Reagan Building
September 5 l Noon – 8 pm
Enjoy Caribbean vibes at Carifesta at the Ronald Reagan Building outdoor plaza. What better way to spend your day off than with authentic Caribbean cuisine, a beer garden, a craft village and a full day of dancing and live music performances, including soca, reggae and salsa? The festival runs from noon to 8 p.m. and admission is free.
