Truckeroo is a monthly showcase of Washington, D.C.’s local food trucks, bringing everyone’s favorite food trucks together one Friday each month from April to September. A diverse sampling of foods and flavors are presented at this festival, and there’s live music and games throughout the day. This month will feature about 26 different trucks so bring your appetite.  Entry is free but you obviously have to pay to be fed.  Don’t miss it, September is going to sneak up on us!

Unrequited Book Launch

June 17th at Upshur Street Books

This is going to be a unique event taking place tomorrow at Upshur Street Books If you like to support the creative industries, particularly in DC, this event is perfect for you.  Unrequited is a book of poem expressing love towards inanimate objects.  The event hosts invite you to come have a glass of wine and listen to 10 local poets read about their love towards a specific object.  It should be a good time and it is a great way to keep our creative economy on the up and up! The event is free and starts at 7 pm.
