Evening At The Embassy Of Saudi Arabia

TTD’s Cultural Society has the remarkable privilege of transporting you around the world to an ancient land filled with wonder and excitement – all in a single evening. Step onto foreign soil and join us for an exclusive visit to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia. You will be amazed at the fantastic architecture and elegance of the Embassy.  The event includes an extensive Saudi dinner from the Embassy’s private chef, Saudi fashion show, exclusive slideshow highlighting the Saudi culture, and Saudi art (including swords, jewelry, and artifacts), as well as a diplomatic meet and greet reception.  The attire is business, so no jeans, sneakers, or casual wear.  Tickets are $52 and can be purchased here.

DuPont Circle Nightclub Tour, Party and Experience

January 16th l 9:15 pm

This is for all of you nightclubbers out there who might like a bit of variety, or maybe you have some friends in town and want to show them the city’s nightlife. There will be five stops beginning at Lucky Bar and ending at Dirty Bar.  There are no additional cover charges for participants, and the stops range in theme from Hip-Hop to Retro.  The best part is you get to meet a ton of new people.  You start the night off by meeting at Lucky Bar. Tickets are only $20 and can be purchased here.


Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – 10th Annual MLK Peace Walk & Parade

January 18th l 9:30 am-1 pm

Washington, DC – In the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, community leaders and residents of the Nation’s Capital will participate in the 9th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Peace Walk and Parade on Monday, January 18, 2016 in Southeast. The parade is a celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and a continuation of the vision of Dr. Calvin and Wilhelmina Rolark and “Petey” Greene, who established the annual parade in Ward 8 over 30 years ago.

The assembly for Peace Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church lot, 2498 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue SE.  Find out more information here
