If you are still looking for something to do tonight, check out this post with five suggestions for no-stress, no-breaking of bank options.  It isn’t too late to get in on the action of less crowds and less money.

Here is something for you karaoke lovers out there. You will happy to know there is a place that takes making a fool of yourself to a whole new level with karaoke and costumes, and it is free on NYE. Kostume Karaoke at Solly’s. Some people come for the karaoke, some come for the costumes, some come for both… and a lot of silliness! Costumes provided, and you must be in costume to take the mic.

Watson Adventures’ Murder At The Museum Scavenger Hunt

January 2nd l 2 pm – 4 pm

Join Watson Adventures on a mysterious scavenger hunt! Someone, has been bumping off National Museum of American History staffers involved in the discovery of an invention by Benjamin Franklin. Freemasons supposedly used it as part of a secret ritual. Are the deaths caused by the invention, or part of the fabled “Curse of the Freemasons”? You’ll have to crack a secret code to solve the mystery. The US Botanic Garden – Season’s Greenings

Now – January 3rd l 10 am – 5 pm

The annual “Season’s Greenings” is a unique exhibit with replicas of DC’s most famous buildings and monuments made from natural materials and is very impressive. The Botanic Garden is a nice way to spend a quiet afternoon. This is your last chance too see the exhibit so drag your hungover self out of bed and go!
