Reopening of the Renwick Gallery
November 13, 2015 l 10 am-5:30 pm
Perhaps the most anticipated event happening this weekend is the reopening of the Renwick Gallery and their featured exhibit, ‘WONDER‘.
After two years of renovations, the Renwick Gallery will reopen to the public on Friday. Nine artists have each taken over a different gallery in the redesigned Renwick, using the first building to be constructed as a museum of art in the U.S. as their inspiration. Expect a variety of different installations, depicting everything from geometric designs to colorful insects, which will turn the gallery best known for displaying famous art into a work of art itself.
The Handi-Hour Craft Beer & Crafting event on Friday is sold out but there is a free Opening Festival taking place all day on Saturday, 11/14. Get more info on the schedule of events here.
