DC Shorts Film Festival
September 10 – 20, 2015
The 2015 DC Shorts Film Festival will showcase one of the largest collections of short films in the country. Out of 1,300 entries, 125 unique films were selected that reflect 24 nations from across the globe.
Films can be viewed in person at participating venues in Downtown Washington, DC or online (online access is only available during the festival, and will be turned off at midnight, September 20).

This daylong festival and throw down at Storey Park will feature the most epic assembly of food trucks in the city. Throughout the day, guests can try a range of culinary concepts, check out live entertainment and browse through on-site fashion trucks.
The trucks are in the running for a number of awards including Chef of the Year, Best New Food Truck, Outstanding Customer Service, Food Truck Design of the Year, Breakthrough Dish and more. For the first time, food truck fans can get in on the action with the Fan Face-Off, where two fans are paired with food truck sous chefs.

17th Street Festival

The 6th annual 17th Street Festival is a free community event that celebrates the 17th Street Corridor from R Street to P Street. From 12:00pm – 6:00pm the event will feature an art show, business specials, an entertainment stage, a kids zone, local vendors, a pet zone and more sponsored by Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets.
