Free People DC Grand Opening

Free People DC is celebrating it’s grand opening in Georgetown. The first lucky 50 customersfreepeople to arrive will receive a tote bag giveaway. Light refreshments will be served and store stylists will be on hand to give in-store styling sessions.

Curation DC is a premiere experience for Washingtonians seeking art, music and libations. The event, presented bycurationdc Britt Wright and The NetworkDC Present, will take place at The Manor (1327 Connecticut Avenue Northwest) from 6:00pm – 10:00pm.

The event will feature music by Johnny Graham & The Groove and DJ Right Touch. Featured artists include Sasha Loriene, Julian Haskins and Earl Mack.

DC TV Day Festival

dctvdayLocal non-profit television station DCTV is hosting a free Community Day Festival with live musical performances, dance lessons, local eats and fun for all ages.

Featured performers include Black Alley, violinist Chelsey Green, reggae band Stryker’s Posse and DJ Marc Nfinit, among others.

The event is hosted by WPGC’s Guy Lambert and will take place at the historic Brooks Mansion campus in Brookland from 1:00pm – 6:00pm. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and RSVP here.
