And make sure to stick around for Town’s annual costume contest, where a $50 bar tab will go to the winner.

Fear at Freer

Friday, October 31, 2014

This Friday at the Freer Sackler Museum, learn about spooky objects, make your own Freer-inspired mask and enjoy Japanese food for sale from the Tokyo in the City food truck.

Then, at 7pm, get in the Halloween spirit with a screening of Ring (aka Ringu), the movie that inspired the American thriller The Ring. Seating for the film is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Auditorium doors open approximately 30 minutes before the show.

This Saturday, Art Whino is keeping the Halloween spirit alive with a zombie fest featuring two floors of music and an amazing line up of DJ’s.

Embracing the spirit of the Zombie ambiance, dress code will require you to come in full zombie gear. If you need help, they’ll be a zombie factory where you can instantly be transformed to a zombie at the event.

There will also be a large group show with Zombie inspired artwork on display as well as live painting.  Admittance comes with a complimentary zombie drink.

Tickets are $30 at the door, $15 in advance. Get more info HERE.
