Guests will also have a chance to meet members of the SW, DC community, enjoy food and dance to great music.

beautdayDC is a city of constant volunteerism, and this Saturday is the ultimate time to give back in the spirit of quality education.

The DC Public School system is hosting its annual beautification day, a citywide effort to “spruce up”  DC public school buildings in preparation for the first day of school. In the past, volunteers and supplies have supported over 100 schools. Beautification efforts included landscaping, trash pick-up, light painting, planting flowers, and other external beautification features.
